Firestone Town Manager Speaks to Carbon Valley Chamber of Commerce

Firestone Town Manager Bruce Nickerson, along with Dacono Town Manager AJ Euchert and Frederick Town Manager Matt LeCerf, spoke to members of the Carbon Valley Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, March 16, 2017, about the state of Carbon Valley. In attendance were elected officials representing the Carbon Valley communities, as well as local business leaders.

The focus of Firestone Town Manager Bruce Nickerson’s speech was on the Town of Firestone’s commitment to community development. He highlighted the Town’s emphasis on sustainability for current and future development and stressed the importance of meeting the community’s needs through projects such as expanding the parks and trails of Firestone and investing in infrastructure.

Mr. Nickerson went on to talk about the smart financial planning efforts of the Firestone Board of Trustees that has allowed for Urban Renewal Projects in Historic Firestone to begin, such as last year’s replacement of Grant Avenue and this year’s planned replacement of Jackson Avenue.

All three Town Managers ended their address to the members by stressing the importance of working together and stressing the value of building relationships between the Carbon Valley communities.
