The Town of Firestone event calendar for the rest of 2018 includes: 

Carbon Valley Holiday Festival - Dec. 1, 2018

Coal Ridge Middle School, 6201 Booth Drive

Volunteers needed from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (various shifts)

Needs: Setup and decorating, craft booths, Santa, hot cocoa and cookies, cleanup

Santa Cops - Wrapping December 2018

Town Hall, 151 Grant Ave.
Needs: Wrapping and sorting gifts

Food & Flick Friday - Various dates

Volunteers needed from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. 

Needs: Cleaning up the park, loading supplies

4th at Firestone - July 4, 2019

Miners Park, 226 Grant Ave.

Volunteers needed from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. (various shifts)

Needs: Setup and decorating, vendor setup and support, snow cone operation, games, Town booth, car show assistance, parade lineup, parade traffic assistance, parade and car show judges, cleanup

National Night Out - Aug. 6, 2019

Hart Park, 467 Jackson Ave.

Volunteers needed from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Needs: Setup, serving ice cream, games, cleanup

Halloween Safe Night - Oct. 25, 2019

Firestone Regional Sports Complex, 6850 Tilbury Ave.

Volunteers needed from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. (various shifts)

Needs: Stuffing treat and safety bags, setup and decorating, game monitoring, cleanup
