Governing Firestone

The Town Board of Trustees serves as the governing body for the Town of Firestone, having responsibility for enacting Town ordinances and resolutions, appropriating funds to conduct Town business, appointing members to boards and commissions, and providing direction to Town staff.

The Board of Trustees consists of the mayor and six trustee members, all of whom are elected by residents. The mayor serves a two-year term, while trustees serve four-year terms.

Any person may appear at the Public Hearings and be heard regarding the matters under consideration. Copies of the application are on file and available for public inspection in the office of the Town Clerk, 151 Grant Ave., Firestone, CO 80520, during regular business hours or call 303-833-3291.
