Town Recycling Report
Recycling logo.png
Starting in 2015, the Town began publishing its recycling report from Green Girl Recycling. The report highlights the Town's efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and impact on the environment. For instance, in 2016, the Town of Firestone recycled 1,874 tons of paper, cardboard, aluminum, and other recyclable materials. That is enough to cover a football field almost 3 feet deep with what we recycled!

Instead of sending recyclables to the landfill to take up space, they will be used to make new products, cutting down on the need for new materials, as well as using less energy and water than making new products out of non-recycled material.
