Gun Locks Available at Firestone PD

The region has seen two recent tragic deaths of children who got their hands on firearms at home.  The Firestone Police Department wants to emphasize the importance of gun safety and proper storage, especially when there are children in the home. 
 
As a resource to the community, the Firestone Police Department has free gun locks available for the public.  If you need one or more locks to secure your weapons from young, curious hands, please stop by the Firestone Police Department and Municipal Court Building at 9900 Park Avenue during regular business hours to pick one up.  With summer right around the corner and more of our kids at home, let’s work together to keep our community safe.
