Peace Officers Memorial Day & Day of Remembrance

Today, on Friday, May 15, 2020 we recognize Peace Officers Memorial Day by remembering the men and women of law enforcement who have lost their lives in the line of duty. The Town of Firestone would like to commend the brave men and women of our law enforcement community for continually having the courage to protect and serve.  Today, the State of Colorado is also asking residents to pause and remember all those who have lost their lives this year due to COVID-19.
 
This evening at 7:00 p.m., Firestone residents are invited to participate in a moment of silence for those we have lost.  To show support, the Firestone Police Department will turn on cruiser red and blue lights for one minute.
