Firestone Police Department
Activity Update
On the afternoon of Wednesday, September 09, 2020, the Firestone Police Officers were dispatched to the parking lot at Home Depot (10858 Jake Jabs Blvd), on a robbery/carjacking report.
The suspects, described as four African American males, were in a silver 4-door sedan, with tinted windows, dark-colored rims and possibly Texas plates. The suspect vehicle pulled into the lot and proceeded to pull up beside two juvenile females sitting in their vehicle at the far north end of the lot.
One of the males exited the suspect vehicle and pointed a gun at one of the females demanding personal belongings and attempted to steal the victim’s vehicle. The suspect pointing the gun was believed to be a juvenile male, approximately 13 to 14 years of age. The other three males in the vehicle were described as being older and possibly early 20’s. The three males in the vehicle fled the area leaving the juvenile male behind on foot. The juvenile male then fled northbound on foot in the direction of the fleeing vehicle and was picked up by the vehicle in the area. The four suspects then fled west-bound on Firestone Boulevard (HWY 119) and turned south on the I-25 East Frontage Road.
The suspect vehicle remains at large at this time, and the case is currently under investigation. If any additional information becomes available, the Firestone Police Department will share it with the public.
