Yard Waste Disposal Event
The Town of Firestone Public Works Department will be hosting a FREE yard waste disposal event for Firestone residents on October 29th, 30th, and 31st.
Firestone residents can bring tree limbs, leaves, shrubs and other yard waste to the Firestone Public Works Facility, at the east gate of 7500 Pine Cone Avenue to be dropped-off on Thursday, October 29th, and Friday, October 30th, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, and on Saturday, October 31st, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Commercial waste will NOT be accepted; this event is for residents only.
Town Staff will be on-site directing traffic, but to practice proper social distancing, will not be available to assist with disposals into the dumpsters. Please bring a copy of your utility bill and/or your I.D. for proof of residency.
Please note:
Tree branches must be 6” or less in diameter, cut to lengths of 4’ or less, and bundled with rope.
Tree stumps or branches larger than 6” will not be accepted.
All other yard waste, including leaves and shrubs must be bagged and able to be placed directly in dumpsters.
Lawn furniture, fence material, edging material, etc. will NOT be accepted.
