Shop at Home. Eat Locally.
Support Firestone.
This fall and winter is proving to be very challenging for our local businesses, and the Town of Firestone wants to encourage residents to continue to shop and eat locally to support their community!
We’ve all had to adjust our normal habits this year, including how we shop. The Town of Firestone will always encourage supporting local businesses but recognizes that you can’t always get what you need locally. Instead of leaving Firestone for those purchases, consider shopping at home and supporting Firestone. Online retailers are required to charge and remit sales tax to the final destination of their product. So, all of that online shopping you’ve been doing really is supporting your community.
Additionally, local restaurants really need our support during this time. Many restaurants are continuing to stay open by offering gift card purchases, delivery services, drive-thru, pick-ups and carryout options. Please remember to follow safety guidelines that each establishment has posted.
Below is a link of Firestone restaurants and businesses, many are open and are making accommodations to continue to serve the community.
