New Address at Firestone Police Department
& Municipal Court Building

Beginning on Monday, March 1, 2021 the Firestone Police Department & Municipal Court building will have a new address – 9900 Park Avenue, Firestone, CO 80504.  The address will be updated online but may take some time to go into effect on 3^rd party maps and apps, such as those on Google or Apple.

Background:

In 2020, while working on construction plans for the new Town Hall building, it was discovered that the address given to the Firestone Police Department & Municipal Court building did not follow standard addressing procedures and needs to be fixed.  Property addressing must be assigned through a logical and consistent procedure throughout a community.  Two main factors being emergency response and ensuring proper delivery services. In Firestone, Sable Avenue is considered the “10000 block.” As properties move south, the address numbers should get smaller.  Additionally, properties on the east or south side of roads should be even numbers.
