Snow Crews Move
into Residential Streets

The Town of Firestone Public Works Department has been working to keep the streets and public areas safe and accessible during this storm.  As they complete Priority A, Priority B and Priority C routes, crews will begin plowing residential streets this afternoon and work throughout the night.  Please remember that if you see a snowplow on the roads, use caution and maintain a safe distance between your vehicle and the plow. 

Residential streets are plowed down the middle to create a passable lane. Public Works makes every effort to plow snow in a manner that does not block driveways, sidewalks or parked vehicles. However, with heavier snowfall, plows may leave a mound or windrow of snow along the street's edge.
