Garage Sale Sign Reminders

It is that time of year, garage sale season!  The Firestone Community Resource Officers have noticed increased garage sale, yard sale and estate sale signs in the community.  The Town of Firestone wants residents to be aware of the rules regarding the placement of these signs.  These temporary signs can only be placed on private property.  Signs cannot be posted or displayed on any utility poles, utility boxes, or other public facilities, or within street medians or right-of-ways. Please do not place signs in a manner that creates a hazard for vehicles or pedestrians.  After your sale is over, all signs must be picked up within 24 hours of the sale.
