Crack Fill Services to
Begin Next Week

In July, the Board of Trustees approved a contract for crack fill services to be performed by Vance Brothers, Inc. in the Town of Firestone.  The contractor plans to begin work next week in Historic Firestone and will move the following week to the St. Vrain Ranch and Ridgecrest subdivisions. After work is completed in these residential areas, Vance Brothers, Inc will begin crack filling with a mastic material on Colorado Boulevard and Sable Avenue.  

View the specific schedules below for each area.  The crack fill application and schedule are all weather-dependent and are subject to change if a weather event occurs. 
 
Historic Firestone Schedule

• Saturday, August 14^th, Vance Brothers, Inc. will deliver door hangers to all properties in Historic Firestone, notifying residents of the upcoming work.
• Sunday, August 15^th, “No Parking” signs will be set up in the neighborhood.  These signs will have a specific date written on them for when the crack fill process will be on that particular street.  During that identified date, residents are asked not to park on the street from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Work will occur Monday, August 16^th through Friday, August 20^th

 Colorado Blvd & Sable Ave Schedule

• On Thursday, September 2^nd, Vance Brothers, Inc will set up traffic control measures starting on Sable Ave at Frontier St and work west towards Colorado Blvd.  Once completed with Sable Ave, Vance Brothers, Inc move on to Colorado Blvd south to Pine Cone Ave.
• Work will occur on Thursday, September 2^nd, through Friday, September 10^th.
• While work is occurring, all roads will remain open.  Travelers are advised that there will be delays and one-lane traffic movement being directed by flaggers. Travelers are requested to obey all signage and to proceed with caution.
