Do you work for a small business? Maybe your neighbor does!
Town of Firestone Celebrating
National Small Business Week
Small businesses create nearly two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year, and more than half of Americans either own or work for a small business.
According to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Advocacy, “Small businesses are the lifeblood of the U.S. economy: they create two-thirds of net new jobs and drive U.S. innovation and competitiveness.” Moreover, U.S. Census Business Dynamics Statistics show that small businesses also rebound from economic downturns more quickly. New businesses generate a higher relative percentage of new employment than older businesses.
When you shop at local small businesses, there is a good chance that the money you spend helps support a neighbor’s job.
Thank you to all small business owners who choose to do business in Firestone and create jobs in our community!
