Firestone Art & Music Show Begins Tomorrow!
The Town of Firestone is excited to partner with the Carbon Valley Regional Library once again to host the Firestone Art & Music Show that begins tomorrow, October 1, 2021. The show will highlight artists from the Carbon Valley and surrounding areas.
Artist Reception
Join us tomorrow, October 1st, for a reception to kick-off the event from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Carbon Valley Regional Library. Enjoy light refreshments and live music, while having the opportunity to meet and talk with local artists and enjoy live demonstrations.
Schedule of Events:
6 p.m. - Event Begins. Artists will be available to answer questions. Participate in a community art project. Light refreshments will be served and coffee/hot drinks will be available for purchase. *Please note: no Library Services will be available during the event.
6 - 7 p.m. Music by Falling Mountain Music. Guitarist & Composer Michael DeLalla
Solo guitar compositions and arrangements of traditional tunes gathered worldwide, steeped with his classical training and seasoned with his jazz, Celtic, and folk stylings.
7 - 8 p.m. - Music by Jesse Maclaine. Professional singer, pianist, composer, and songwriter working in pop, rock, jazz, folk, classical, musical theatre, and other genres.
Art Show
Pieces will be displayed at the Carbon Valley Regional Library throughout the month of October. Stop by during regular business hours and view the impressive work created by local artists.
