Public Invited to Firestone Chief of Police
Swearing-In Ceremony

The Town of Firestone invites the community to attend a Swearing-In Ceremony on Monday, January 10, honoring David Angelo as he is sworn in as Chief of Police of the Firestone Police Department. The short ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the Richard E. Hart Training Room at the Firestone Police Department. Coffee and light refreshments will be available. 

Chief Angelo was selected as the Chief of Police for the Firestone Police Department in December after a nationwide search.  “The Board of Trustees is thrilled to have someone of Mr. Angelo’s caliber leading our Police Department,” said Mayor Bobbi Sindelar.  “As a Board, we were impressed by his experience, professionalism, and commitment to earn Firestone residents’ trust.”

David Angelo comes to Firestone after serving the Houston Police Department for 27 years, where he’s spent many years in leadership roles.  Prior to his work for the Houston Police Department, Angelo served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged.  Angelo possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science degree in Strategic Leadership.
