Sable Avenue Closure

Sable Avenue, between Birch Street and the East I-25 Frontage Road, is currently closed.  Earlier this afternoon, a fire in the ditch caused the culvert that goes under the road to be compromised, resulting in a part of Sable Avenue to begin to collapse. 

The Firestone Public Works Department is currently evaluating the damage and will share an update on the timing of the repairs as soon as possible.
