Celebrate the 20th Annual 4th at Firestone: Event Details
The celebration of Independence Day in Firestone explodes with a day full of activities, including a patriotic parade, family fun, great food, and an evening event filled with music and fireworks. This year's festivities mark the 20th annual 4th at Firestone event on Monday, July 4, 2022.

PARADE- Time: 10:00 a.m.
- Location: Starts at Thunder Valley K-8, in Frederick, drives through Historic Firestone to Miners Park.

PARKING- Time: The parking lot will open at 12:00 p.m., after the parade is complete.
- Location: Parking will be available for the full day of activities near Miners Park. You do not need to stay for the full day of events to park in the lot. The exit on the north end of the lot will be open the full day. The entrance to the parking lot is off of 1st Street, north of the former Town Hall building. - Details: Follow the parking attendants for guidance once you have entered the lot. There are ADA parking spaces available. You must have an ADA mirror tag or ADA license plates to park in those spaces. We ask that everyone be respectful of rules posted, including no fireworks of any kind, no alcohol permitted in the parking lot, and as a reminder, please leave your dogs at home. Additionally, we ask that drivers be aware of all parking regulations within the Town of Firestone and any neighboring municipalities. Do not block neighbors' driveways and do not park in no-parking zones.

DAY ACTIVITIES- Time: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Join us at 2:00 p.m. for the presentation of the colors by Cub Scout Pack 341, parade awards, the recognition of local veterans and a special fly over!
- Location: Miners Park, 170 Grant Ave.
- Details: Join us for food trucks, booth vendors, and plenty of free fun activities for the whole family. It will be a hot day, please remember to bring water, a hat, and sunscreen.
- Free T-Shirts: The Carbon Valley Help Center will have a booth during the day event, and will be taking non-perishable donations. The first 200 people who bring them a donation will receive a FREE 4th at Firestone t-shirt.

EVENING ACTIVITIES- Time: 5:00 – 10:00 p.m.
- Location: Miners Park, 170 Grant Ave.
- Details: Enjoy a delicious meal or a festival dessert from food trucks, grab a drink from the beer garden, and visit with friends and neighbors while listening to outstanding live entertainment, including Stereo Clone at 5:30 p.m., Narrow Gauge at 6:45 p.m., and headlining the evening is That Eighties Band starting at 8:00 p.m.
FIREWORKS SHOW
- Time: The show is expected to start around 9:30 p.m.
- Location: Fireworks will be shot-off just north of the 15th hole at Saddleback Golf Course.
- Details: Should there be any weather delays, announcements will be posted on the Facebook Event.
LEAVE IT TO THE PROS!
To protect the property and everyone in attendance, fireworks of any kind, will not be allowed. Additionally, the Firestone Police Department will be enforcing local fireworks laws throughout the holiday weekend. As a reminder, an illegal firework is any firework that explodes or leaves the ground.
