Arrest Made in Burglaries
Less than 24 hours after the Firestone Police Department requested your help, we received an anonymous tip at approximately 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 regarding the location of the person of interest believed to be involved in a recent burglary of Grease Monkey.
The Firestone Police Department responded to the location immediately and came into contact with Brian Miller. Mr. Miller was transported to the Firestone Police Department, where detectives conducted an interview. After initially denying any involvement in the recent burglaries, he finally admitted to detectives that he was responsible for the five business burglaries that occurred over the July 29th weekend at the High Plains Marketplace shopping center.
Mr. Miller is charged with 4 counts of 2nd Degree Burglary, 5 counts of Possession of Burglary Tools, 5 counts of Criminal Mischief, and 4 counts of Theft, and was transported to the Weld County Jail in Greeley.
