REMINDER!
Neighborhood Meeting #2
for McClure Avenue
Don't forget to join us tomorrow for our second neighborhood meeting to hear feedback about the potential removal of the barricades at the intersection of Farmdale Street & McClure Avenue. In September, the Town hosted the first neighborhood meeting and heard from a handful of residents.
Before any decision is made about the barricades, the Town of Firestone would like to hear from more residents, especially those who live on McClure Avenue, about this issue. This meeting is open to all residents who would like to share their opinion and help guide the Board of Trustees in this decision.
If you cannot come to the Neighborhood Meeting but would like to provide feedback, please email NSO@firestoneco.gov.
Background
The Town of Frederick has requested that these barricades be removed to allow for the residents who live in the Clark Ranch neighborhood to have vehicular access to McClure Avenue.
In 2016, when that development was in the approval process, the Town of Firestone did not approve the connection from that neighborhood onto McClure Avenue, citing concerns with increased traffic to that street. Since then, the barricades have been in place.
