2022 Halloween Safe Night – THIS Friday!
Friday, October 28th from 5-8 p.m.
at the Firestone Regional Sports Complex
The Firestone Police Department is looking forward to celebrating Halloween Safe Night with the community. This event includes a trunk-or-treating, pedal car races, mini golf, the NOCO Gaming truck, inflatables, two trackless trains, food trucks, and more. Read below for all of the event details.
PARKING & ENTRANCE
Parking is available in the lot just west of the Complex and will open at 5:00 p.m. Entrance to the lot is only available off of Flacon Street from Firestone Blvd. Vehicles cannot enter the park off Frontier Avenue.
Follow the parking attendants for guidance once you have entered the lot. There are ADA parking spaces available. You must have an ADA mirror tag or ADA license plate to park in those spaces. Once you arrive, signage will be posted throughout the park with the event map. Trunk or treat vehicles and activities will be located on Fields #1 and #3, with oversize trunks located along Tilbury Avenue. View a map of the parking lot here.
EVENT DETAILS
New layout this year! Once in the event, you choose what activities to participate in.
Both fields #1 and #3 will have trunk-or-treating and booths to visit. Each field will also have a trackless train to ride. The toddler zone will be in Field #1, brought to you by Firestone Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics. Field #3 will feature the Mega Corn Maze, brought to you by Re/Max Nexus. The DJ will be located near the park pavilion and playground.
With the trunk-or-treating spread out on both fields, and lots of activities to participate in, we hope to eliminate the notoriously long line! View a map of the event activities here.
FOOD TRUCKS
The food trucks will be located in the parking lot in front of the Sports Complex, with plenty of picnic tables for seating. The trucks will begin serving right at 5:00 p.m. Trucks scheduled to appear include: Short D’s, Chase N’ Smoke, Original by Greeks, Nacho Mama’s Tacos and Hip-Pops.
