Community Crime Map Updates Temporarily Unavailable

The Community Crime Map will not be updated automatically while the Firestone Police Department switches to a new CAD (computer-aided dispatch) and RMS (record management system) system. The Community Crime Map pulls data automatically from the CAD and RMS systems, then displays the records on a map, grid, and charts dashboard along with some basic information about the incidents.

Weld County is the Firestone Police Department’s provider for CAD and is switching its whole system over to a new provider. At the same time, the Firestone Police Department is switching to the same RMS system that most agencies in Weld County utilize. Technology Advancement is a core initiative identified in the Firestone Police Department’s Strategic Plan. This change will allow for a more integrated approach that will improve the ability to share records and information amongst other police departments.  

When the Community Crime Map comes back online, the Firestone Police Department will inform the public.
