Notice from Central Weld County Water District

Central Weld County Water District (CWCWD) has notified the Town of Firestone that from January 16, 2023, through January 20, 2023, the South Plant will be taken offline to allow for annual inspection and maintenance of the St. Vrain Canal by Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District.   CWCWD and Little Thompson Water District will use a secondary (Dry Creek Reservoir) water supply during this time.  

Due to using a different water source, customers may notice a change in taste or odor while this is going on.  CWCWD assures that the water will remain safe to drink.
