Temporary Closure on Tuesday

Colorado Blvd. to Barefoot Lakes Pkwy.

On Tuesday, January 17, 2023, Ronald Reagan Boulevard will be closed for the day. The closure will be between Colorado Boulevard and Barefoot Lakes Parkway. Barring any unforeseen issues and weather permitting, the road is expected to be reopened by the end of that day.

After opening the road last month, the paving contractor needs to fix asphalt issues that arose after the initial paving was completed. The full-day closure will allow the contractor to safely and expeditiously repair these areas of concern. 

The main detour routes will use CR 9 1/2 to Highway 66 or Colorado Boulevard to Highway 66. Signs will be in place along the detour route to help direct travelers. 

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detour and traffic control signs and, if possible, to avoid this section of Ronald Reagan Boulevard altogether.
