Town of Firestone Schedule Updates
Due to the forecasted weather, Town Hall and the Police Department & Municipal Court Building will delay opening until 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, January 18, 2023.
The Work Session scheduled for tomorrow evening has been rescheduled to Thursday, January 19, 2023. The Work Session will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Training Room at the Firestone Police Department (9900 Park Avenue, Firestone). The FURA meeting that was scheduled for Wednesday evening has been canceled.

Snow Removal Updates
The Town of Firestone Public Works Department will work to keep the streets and public areas safe and accessible during this storm. Please remember that if you see a snowplow on the roads, use caution and maintain a safe distance between your vehicle and the plow.

Move Vehicles from Snow Routes: Help the Town in its snow removal operations by moving vehicles from priority snow routes.
Give Snow Plows Plenty of Room to Work: The Firestone Public Works snow plow team will work efficiently to clear roadways of snow for safe passage. If you meet a snowplow on the roads, please use caution and maintain a safe distance between your vehicle and the plow.
Snow Buddies: If you're age 60+ and cannot shovel your driveway and sidewalks after a snowstorm, the Carbon Valley Parks & Recreation District has a Snow Buddies program that will find a community volunteer to shovel for you.
