Traffic Signal & Pedestrian Signal Work to Begin Next Week

Beginning Monday, April 10, 2023, Sturgeon Electric will begin work on the much-anticipated traffic signal at the west entrance to the King Soopers parking lot on Colorado Boulevard, and then work will begin on the pedestrian-activated HAWK signal at the intersection of Oak Meadows Boulevard and Colorado Boulevard.

Weather permitting, regular work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the project should be completed by early summer.

Motorists are urged to pay close attention while driving through the work area and be prepared for slight delays. While on Colorado Boulevard, be aware that there will be multiple lane shifts at both intersections during construction. Please abide by all posted traffic control signs, reduce speeds in the work zone, and avoid the work area if possible.
