Registration Open for
Firestone Police Department's Teen Academy
Firestone teens, ages 13-17, are invited to join Officer Dunker and Officer Neugebauer this summer for a 4-day student police academy!
Students will learn about traffic stops, building searches, cyber-crimes, fingerprints and DNA, and will learn from our partners at the Weld County Sheriff's Office about K9 demonstrations and SWAT and from the Frederick-Firestone Fire Protection District. Daily refreshments will be provided.
2023 Teen Summer Police Academy Details:
- Ages: 13-17, with parent permission
- Dates: June 12 - 15
- Time: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
- Location: Firestone Police Department (9900 Park Avenue)
- Registration: Academy is free, but registration is needed. Register online here.
Priority will be given to teens who have not participated in the program.
