Open House Material Now Available Online!
The Town invites the community to review the slides online, including a draft of the three alternative scenarios that have been developed by the consultant and Town Staff based on community stakeholder meetings and public engagement events. On all of these slides, you can leave comments, ask questions, provide support, and raise concerns. This online platform will be available to the public until May 21, 2023.
With the feedback received, the plans will continue to be refined and shared with the public for additional feedback. As those engagement opportunities are scheduled, the website will be updated, and community notifications will be sent out.
Background
Last summer, the Town of Firestone began the process of creating the Town’s Comprehensive Master Plan. This Plan will replace the 2013 Master Plan with a comprehensive guide for strategic growth, development, and investment. The Plan will be a guiding document with policy framework for the Town’s regulatory tools, such as zoning, subdivision regulations, annexations, and other policies.
The Firestone Comprehensive Master Plan is a community-driven plan that establishes a vision and creates a blueprint for the community’s goals and aspirations for the next 20 years. The Plan will address topics that affect how people experience the built and natural environment, shaping the places where we live, work, and play. The project is currently in the second of five phases and is scheduled to be completed by December 2023.
