More Project Information
In early May, Defalco Construction began work on the Historic Firestone Waterline and Roadway Replacement Project #2. The work area includes 4th Street, Buchannan Ave, and Granville Ave. to 3rd Street and will then move to Wooster Dr., Jackson Dr., and 3rd Street. Weather permitting, regular work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the project should be completed by the end of 2023.
When specific areas will have closures or shutoffs, residents who will be impacted by the work will receive door hanger notices from the contractor with specific timing for the work on their street.
Motorists are urged to pay close attention while driving through the work area and be prepared for slight delays. While on 4th Street, be aware that there will be multiple lane shifts at both intersections during construction. Please abide by all posted traffic control signs, reduce speeds in the work zone, and avoid the work area if possible.
