2024 Budget Preparation

The Board of Trustees began reviewing the 2024 proposed budget in a Work Session on Wednesday, September 20. A high-level overview of the proposed 2024 General Fund was presented to the Board of Trustees.

Documents presented throughout the budget preparation process will be posted online at www.firestoneco.gov/budget. Any updates made to these documents will be posted in a timely manner. According to the schedule below, after subsequent funds are presented and discussed, those documents will be posted online as well. 
 
Please note that these numbers are proposed and subject to change. 

Upcoming Tentative Budget Calendar

• Wednesday, September 27: Review of Water Fund and Stormwater Fund
• Wednesday, October 18: FURA Meeting for review of the FURA Funds
• Wednesday, October 18: Review of General Fund, Capital Improvement Fund, Debt Service Fund, and Conservation Trust Fund
• Wednesday, October 25: Review of the Complete Proposed Budget
• Wednesday, November 8: Review of the Complete Proposed Budget, if necessary
• Wednesday, November 15: Budget Adoption in a Public Hearing
