Winter Weather Watch in Firestone 

Based on the Winter Weather Watch in effect for today, Wednesday, March 13 through Thursday, March 14, the Town of Firestone Public Works Department has staff prepared to keep both the arterial and collector roadways clear.  Staff will run shifts and will continue until the snow event is over.  Parks Division staff will be working to address facilities, school zones, parks, and trails.

  • Move Vehicles from Snow Routes: Help the Town in its snow removal operations by moving vehicles from priority snow routes.
  • Give Snow Plows Plenty of Room to Work: The Firestone Public Works snow plow team will work efficiently to clear roadways of snow for safe passage. If you meet a snowplow on the roads, please use caution and maintain a safe distance between your vehicle and the plow.
  • Carbon Valley Emergency Management Agency: Follow CVEMA on Facebook for additional storm updates for the Carbon Valley area and other great resources.
