Community Input!

A message from the Parks, Trails, Recreation and Open Space Commission: 

In April, the Parks, Trails, Recreation and Open Space Commission (PTROC) asked residents to share ideas, suggestions, and concerns about parks, trails, and open spaces in Firestone. We heard from over 30 people! Thank you to everyone who shared with us.

We plan to prioritize improvements in local parks and have the commission present a list of desired improvements to the Board of Trustees later in the year. We've documented all the responses so far. Still, we want to continue to hear from community members—especially as the weather has gotten nicer and we are all outside enjoying the spaces.

Throughout the summer, PTROC members will attend various events hosted by the Town of Firestone.  We would love to visit with you, discuss ideas and concerns, and learn about your experiences with Firestone's parks, trails, and open spaces.  The next event is:
