County Road 3.5 
Temporary Closure

Between SH 119 and CR 26

Beginning Monday, January 13, 2025, County Road 3.5 will be closed for road and utility work as part of the Firelight development improvement work. The road will be closed to access from SH 119 in the northbound direction.   This closure is required to allow the contractor working for the Firelight developer to safely and expeditiously install the underground utilities. Barring any unforeseen issues and weather permitting, this closure is anticipated to last through the end of the week, January 17, 2025. 

For residents of the Longview community and any other local traffic, access to County Road 3.5 will only be available from County Road 26. 

Signs will be along the detour route to help direct travelers. Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detour and traffic control signs and, if possible, avoid the construction zone.
