2025 Town of Firestone Clean Up Day EventsFriday, April 25, Saturday, April 26Friday, May 2 & Saturday, May 3 7 A.M. - 1 P.M. | 7500 Pine Cone Avenue (WCR 20) To ensure the Town can accommodate everyone, ease traffic congestion, and improve the resident experience, Clean Up Day will be split over 2 weekends based on your neighborhood:
Weekend #1: Friday, April 25, Saturday, April 26Barefoot Lakes, Booth Farms, Cimarron Point, Cottonwood Hollow, Eagle Crest, Gateway North, Historic Firestone (including Globe, Overlook, Russell, Timberland, Villas, and Westwind Village), Monarch Estates, Mountain Shadows, Neighbors Point, Stoneridge, and The Shores. Weekend #2: Friday, May 2 & Saturday, May 3Del Ray, Firestone Meadows, Oak Meadows, Oak Meadows Townhomes, Owl Lake Estates, Ridgecrest, Rural Firestone, Saddleback, Saddleback Heights, Sagebrush, and St. Vrain Ranch. - The event is for residents only. Commercial waste will NOT be accepted.
- Each utility account will be limited to 2 free loads during their assigned weekend. Additional loads are $20 - cash only.
- Truckloads containing loose materials and/or debris must be covered.
- Please bring a copy of your utility bill and/or your I.D. for proof of residency.
- Help Those in Need—Donate Non-Perishable Items to the Carbon Valley Help Center! Visit their website for a list of requested items.
Arrival & Check-In
Please be mindful of the construction and closure on WCR 20 (Pine Cone Avenue), which is only open from the west. The entrance to the Clean Up Day event will be clearly marked. Follow all signs and directions from staff. Residents are advised to stay in their vehicles until they have completed the check-in process and reached the dumpsters. Before sending it to the landfill...Join us for the Firestone Recycles event on Saturday, April 19, at the Firestone Public Works Facility! Do you have household items that still have life left? A box of old electronics and cords? Sensitive documents that need shredding? We’ve got you covered! Instead of sending unwanted items to the landfill, consider recycling or donating them at this event. Important Details:- Accepted Items: Visit our website for a full list of accepted materials and restrictions.
- No Fees: This is a free event, though some limitations apply (e.g., one TV and one banker box of paper per household). Additional TVs require a fee, payable by cash or check (to Green Girl Recycling).
- Registration Required: To help with traffic flow, residents must register for a time slot. Registration remains open as long as spots are available. Click here to register and secure your spot!
- Proof of Residency Required: A government-issued ID with a Firestone address or a utility bill matching the name on your ID is needed for entry.

Drug Take Back DayThe Firestone Police Department is proud to participate in the DEA’s Annual Drug Take Back Day. On Saturday, April 26th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., community members are encouraged to visit the Firestone Police Department (9900 Park Ave, Firestone) to safely and anonymously dispose of unwanted, unneeded, and expired household medications—including both prescription and over-the-counter drugs. This event offers a valuable opportunity to clean out your medicine cabinets and dispose of medications responsibly. Click here to view more information.
