County Road 26 Temporary Closure

Saint Vrain Sanitation Sewer Project

Beginning Monday, July 7, 2025, the Saint Vrain Sanitation District will close County Road 26 between County Road 15 and County Road 17 for utility work. The closure is required to allow the utility contractor to safely and quickly install new sewer mains crossing County Road 26 and make the necessary repairs to the road. 

Barring any unforeseen issues and weather permitting, the road is expected to be closed until mid-August 2025. Residents within the closure will be able to reach their residences on County Road 26 from the east.

The main detour routes will be clearly marked and are:

• For eastbound County Road 26: north on CR 15 at CR 26, back to CR 17, then south to CR 26
• For westbound County Road 26: north on CR 17 at CR 26 to CR 26 3/4, then west on CR 26 3/4 back to CR 26.

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are urged to pay close attention to detour and traffic control signs and, if possible, to avoid this section of County Road 26 altogether.
