Activity Update

This afternoon, Friday, March 8, 2019, the Firestone Police Department responded to a barricaded suspect who was potentially suicidal in the area north of the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Firestone Boulevard.  A reverse 911 call went out to neighbors in this area informing them of heavy police presence in the area. Shortly before 7:00 p.m., the suspect was apprehended and is now in custody.  There was no threat to the public, but due to the nature of the situation and the negotiations being had, the Police Department was unable to share any further information with the public.
