18th Annual Firestone Clean Up Day & Food Drive

The Town of Firestone is hosting the 18th Annual Residential Clean Up Day on Saturday, April 27th. Bring unwanted household debris to Firestone’s Public Works facility at 7500 Pine Cone Ave (WCR 20). Commercial waste will NOT be accepted; this event is for residents only.
NEW THIS YEAR! Clean Up Day will begin earlier at 6AM and go through 2PM. Each utility account will be limited to 2 free loads during the day. If a resident has more than 2 loads to bring, each additional load will cost $20 - cash only. Truckloads containing loose materials and/or debris must be covered.
DON’T FORGET! The Town of Firestone would greatly appreciate your non-perishable food item donation on Clean Up Day. All food gifts will be donated to local food banks. Join us for a FREE pancake breakfast (starting at 7AM) and hamburger lunch.
* In the event of inclement weather, Clean Up Day will be rescheduled and the information will be posted on the Town’s website.
Accepted Items:
BBQ grills, bicycles, cabinet’s, carpet, chain link fence, concrete, doors, furniture, hot tubs, lumber, mattress/box spring, microwaves, patio furniture, shrubs, steel, stove/oven, tree limbs, washer/dryer, water heater, yard equipment, yard waste + other misc. household debris.
Not Accepted:- NO - Tires of any size
- NO - Refrigerators or Freezers
Accepted at: Elliott’s Auto, 5511 WCR 13, Call 303-833-3501 for fees.
- NO - Electronics, TV’s, computer monitors or towers
- NO - 55 Gallon Drums

Chemicals, paint, oil, antifreeze, flammables, batteries, light bulbs, corrosives, poisons, household cleaners, etc. are accepted year-round FREE to Weld County residents at 5500 HWY 52 in Dacono on Fridays & 1st & 3rd Saturdays 9AM-4PM for more information call 970-304-6415 x2233.
