Celebrate the 17^th Annual
4^th at Firestone

 
The celebration of Independence Day in Firestone explodes with a day full of activities including a patriotic parade, live music, great food and an evening event filled with fun and fireworks. This year’s festivities mark the 17^th annual 4^th at Firestone event on July 4, 2019.
 
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. and make its way from Thunder Valley K-8, in Frederick, through Historic Firestone to Miners Park for the day's celebration. Floats, decorated vehicle displays, marching bands, classic cars, motorcycles and more will compile a parade lineup that residents and festival attendees will not want to miss! This is the perfect time for people to show their American pride by lining the streets in celebration.  View the parade route here. 

Main Event

The main event will include live music, vendors, food and fun from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Miners Park, 226 Grant Ave. The festival will include a showcase of various vendors and booths lining the street of Grant Avenue. Free activities will include a climbing wall, bungee trampoline, inflatable jumps, petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, games and more! Outstanding live entertainment throughout the day will include a mix of music on the main stage located at Miners Park.
 
Join us at 12 p.m. for the presentation of the colors by the Frederick-Firestone Fire Protection District Color Guard and recognition of local veterans.

Evening Event & Fireworks Show

NEW THIS YEAR!  Join us at the Firestone Regional Sports Complex (6850 Tilbury Ave.) for the 4th at Firestone evening event that will include food trucks, fun games, live music and, of course, fireworks!    Attendees are invited to the ballfields for all the fun, and don't miss the spectacular fireworks display to wrap up a great day of celebration. The Fireworks Display starts around 9:30 p.m. Parking lot will open at 7 p.m.
