    Vendor Application Deadline: Friday, June 5, 2020, no later than 5:00 p.m.

  • Vendor Space*

    1. A nonrefundable convenience fee for all online transactions will be added upon checkout.

    2. Electricity

      The Town of Firestone will not be providing electricity to Non-Profit booths. You may bring your own electricity/generator if that is required for your booth.

    3. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

      All of the below must be received before your application will be considered. If a completed application packet is not received by submission deadline, you will not be considered for participation in this event.

    5. Please be as specific as possible, we want to know what your organization is all about! The Town of Firestone reserves the right to approve or deny applications. If your application is not approved, your fee will be refunded.

    6. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

    7. Are you selling merchandise at your booth?*

      • All vendors selling merchandise must provide a copy of their current sales tax license for the State of Colorado with their completed vendor application.
      • Town of Firestone businesses must have a current business license.
      • Transient merchants (out-of-town) must have a current business license, but are not charged a separate business license or sales tax license fee for Town-sponsored one-day events provided they have submitted a completed vendor application and paid the vendor fee.
      • Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting all applicable sales tax to the state. Colorado: 2.9% Firestone 3.6%

    8. Insurance

      Vendor spaces are not insured by the Town of Firestone

    9. SET-UP TIME

      PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THESE CHANGES FOR 2020: Staged setup for vendors will occur between 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. depending on your time needed. All vendors must be set up by 3:45 p.m. Vendors may not tear down booths before 9:30 p.m. At and after 9:30 p.m., vendors may breakdown their areas and cart their belongings to their vehicles. VEHICLES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE EVENT AREA UNTIL 10:00 P.M. All vendors must be packed up and ready to disperse by 10:30 p.m.

    10. PAYMENT

      The Town of Firestone accepts cash, check and credit card payments. Credit card payments for vendor spaces are encouraged to be made online at www.firestoneco.gov/4thatFirestone or in person at the Firestone Town Hall: 151 Grant Avenue, Firestone, CO. 80520

      • Checks are payable to: Town of Firestone with “Makers Market Application” in the memo line.
    11. SITE INFORMATION

      Vendors will be emailed a site plan with set-up information by Monday, June 15, 2020. Site plans will also be available on event day. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own equipment (canopies, tables, chairs and materials), and are REQUIRED to bring weights (bricks or sandbags) being a minimum of 20 LBS. per weight, for canopies in case of high winds. Failure to do so may result in a fine issued by the Frederick Firestone Fire Protection District and/or the Firestone Police Department. Vendor space assignments will be drawn at random by the Events & Programming Coordinator. The Town of Firestone reserves the right to change site locations and dimensions due to event logistics.

    12. 4TH AT FIRESTONE VENDOR RULES & REGULATIONS

      • Vendors are responsible for bringing their own equipment (canopies, tables, chairs and materials), and are REQUIRED to weight their tents (bricks or sandbags) in case of high winds. Failure to do so may result in a fine issued by the Town of Firestone.
      • Vendors must have an attendant at their booth at all times during the 4th at Firestone.
      • Exhibitors will be allowed to TEMPORARILY park near the event site for unloading and loading. Immediately following this process, you must move your vehicle(s) to the Vendor Parking as indicated in the site plan. Any vehicle left unattended in the event area may be towed at the owner’s expense.
      • All materials and equipment brought on the property shall be at the total risk of the vendor. Anything that would cause real or potential danger to any person will be prohibited on the premises, except Police, Fire and Ambulance exhibits.
      • Displays may not exceed vendor space boundaries. No distribution of flyers and/or marketing material will be allowed outside of the vendor space, including in the park area or street.
      • Vendors must remove all refuse from space upon breakdown, or reimburse the Town of Firestone for cleaning.
      • Food distribution will be allowed in designated areas only. All other vendors will not be allowed to distribute prepared food, even if complimentary. Exceptions include individual complimentary candy items (i.e. candy bowl). Product sampling is allowed with prior approval before the event from the Events & Programming Coordinator
      • Any damage caused to the park or amenities by vendors will be charged to and paid for by the vendor. This includes any items owned by the Town of Firestone that are removed from the premises.
      • Vendors or their staff can be turned away for what the Town of Firestone considers inappropriate behavior towards other vendors, visitors or staff. Vendors who have been turned away will forfeit their application fee.
      • REFUNDS - No refunds will be given after Friday, June 5, 2020.
      • In case of inclement weather, the 4th at Firestone will be rescheduled for Sunday, July 5, 2020. For any vendors not able to make the inclement weather date, refunds will be issued.

      By signing below, vendor recognizes and acknowledges that he or she assumes full risk of any injuries, property damage or loss which he or she may sustain as a result of his or her participation in the 4th at Firestone. The Town of Firestone reserves the right of final decision in rules interpretation and enforcement. Further, vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Town of Firestone, its officers, employees and insurers from any and all liability for any damage, loss, injury or costs associated with or arising from his or her acts or omissions in connection with his or her participation in the 4th at Firestone.
