2022 Budget Amendment & 2023 Budget Review Update
In a Public Hearing during Wednesday night's meeting, the Board of Trustees approved Resolution 22-108, a Budget Amendment for the 2022 Town of Firestone budget. The Town budgets for Capital Improvement Projects annually. However, due to the timing of work performed, these projects may carry over into the following year. This Budget Amendment is to carry over the unspent budgeted funds from these Capital Improvement Projects that were not completed in the previous year.
The Board of Trustees began reviewing the 2023 proposed budget in a Work Session on Wednesday, September 21. All Department Directors presented their budgets for the General Fund. During the Board Meeting on Wednesday, September 28, the Capital Projects Fund, Debt Service Fund, Conservation Trust Fund, Firestone Urban Renewal Authority, and Stormwater Fund were presented. During the next Work Session on Wednesday, October 19 the Water Fund and the Capital Improvement Fund will be reviewed.
