Firestone Police Department
Launches Volunteer Program
The Firestone Police Department is excited to launch a new volunteer program - Volunteers in Police Service (V.I.P.S.). Volunteers are essential to any organization and are proven to be valuable assets to law enforcement agencies.
V.I.P.S. can be called on to help with everything from organizing and staffing, helping with events, emergency assistance, role-playing for training, research, answering phone calls, or various other administrative duties. This new program was organized to accomplish the department's goals through community involvement more effectively.
If you are interested in volunteering for the Firestone Police Department, we invite you to learn more about the application process and qualifications. Volunteers must be legal residents of the United States and pass a background check. Volunteers must adhere to the dress code and the Policies and Procedures for department employees.
