In March 2024, the Town of Firestone entered into a non-exclusive master license agreement for fiber networks with HyperFiber LLC (now Ripple Fiber) to provide internet service. The provider approached the Town in January 2024 with the desire to build a network in Firestone. The Agreement includes requirements for equipment placement in rights-of-way, obtaining required permits, and damage restoration per Town regulations. Ripple Fiber is an independent contractor working through the Town of Firestone's permitting and construction process to install a fiber network that will serve this area.
In August 2024, the Town of Firestone began issuing Right-of-Way Permits to the provider, allowing their construction to begin. The permits have been issued for Stoneridge, Neighbor's Point, and Monarch Estates. As more permits are issued, this page will be updated.
