On Friday, April 10, 2020 all Town of Firestone water customers were mailed a letter explaining that during a routine test by CDPHE, it was discovered that during the years of 2016-2018, there were violations of the Backflow Prevention and Cross Connection Control Rule. These violations fall under the “Management” category, and require notification to the public and corrective actions. In 2019, the Town of Firestone implemented a program to assure that the Town is meeting the requirements of the rule and are no longer are in violation.
The Town of Firestone is committed to providing safe drinking water to residents and commercial customers, and will continue to comply with all water quality regulations.
