Park Shelter Reservations

Our parks feature shelters that are perfect for hosting gatherings or special events. View a complete list of parks with detailed amenities here. Click on a park name to view detailed information about its amenities.

Reserve Online

  1. Use our online park shelter reservation system to check availability and submit your reservation quickly and easily. 
  2. Create an account online or sign-in to your Community Account.
  3. Select your desired park, date, and time for the reservation, then proceed to checkout.
  4. Complete payment and the receipt will act as the permit (approval is no longer required) .

Shelter Reservations

  • Check Availability: Visit the Calendars Page and select your preferred park to view shelter availability by date.
  • Reservation Deadline: Shelter reservation requests must be submitted at least 7 business days in advance. If no reservation exists, shelters are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Large Events & Weddings: Planning a wedding or event with more than 50 attendees? Please complete an External Special Event Application.
  • Shelter Use: Reservations apply to shelters only. Renters do not have exclusive access to the park grounds or restrooms.
  • Bounce Houses & Food Vendors: Inflatables and mobile food vendors require proof of insurance. For approval, contact Kaycee Lott, Special Events Coordinator, at 303-531-6284 or klott@firestoneco.gov.
  • Park Rules: All park users, including shelter renters, are required to follow all posted park rules.

Park Sports & Multi-Use Field Reservations

Host a tournament, game or practice at one of Firestone's athletic facilities. Ball fields are available for rental from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and can be rented by the hour or daily. Park Shelters are not reserved with the field and require a separate reservation. 

Reserve Online

  1. Complete the Park and Field Use Request Form in full. Please note this is a request only and does not guarantee your rental.
  2. Submit requests at least 14 days in advance for tournaments or game field rentals, and at least 7 days in advance for organized recurring practices.
  3. Staff will make every effort to respond to requests within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday) of form submission.

Reservation Opening Dates:

  • Tournaments and Games: Requests open August 15
  • Organized Recurring Practices: Requests open September 15

Important Note: Submitting a reservation request does not guarantee your booking. All requests will be reviewed by the Recreation Field Coordinator to ensure there are no scheduling conflicts. You will receive confirmation once your reservation is approved.
