In early 2025, Firestone Police Chief David Angelo reached out to all Homeowners Associations (HOAs) in Firestone to offer an opportunity to partner with the Town in extending LPR coverage to subdivision entrances. This collaborative program involves shared financial responsibility for installation and ongoing annual maintenance, offering neighborhoods an added layer of security.
This initiative reflects the Department’s core values of crime prevention, community partnership, and the strategic use of technology to enhance public safety.
Participation in the HOA Program is entirely voluntary. Regardless of participation, there is no penalty or change in how the Firestone Police Department responds to calls in any neighborhood.
The Firestone Police Department is available to attend HOA meetings and provide residents and board members with detailed information to help them make an informed decision on if there is any interest in participation.
