To celebrate National Night Out (NNO), the Firestone Police Department is hosting a community event with games, fun activities, karaoke, an ice cream social and a food truck on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. The event takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Settlers Park, 11447 Deerfield Dr.
Firestone residents are encouraged to come and join their neighbors to celebrate National Night Out. Dinner will be available from a local food truck for purchase, while other event activities will be free of charge. With the focus of the event aimed at providing safety information and to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, representatives of the Firestone Police Department and the Frederick-Firestone Fire Protection District will be available at the event with information about the community, the Town’s Neighborhood Watch program and safety handouts.
