The Town of Firestone will be closing a portion of McClure Avenue, First Street and Johnson
Street (Weld County’s Jurisdiction). The purpose of the closure will be to prepare the roadway
between the two intersections for new cross pans and asphalt pavement.
The roadway will be closed beginning at 7:00 AM on Thursday November 1, 2018. The roadway
will reopen no later than 7:00 PM on Saturday November 10, 2018. Because of the nature of the
work it may not be possible for even emergency service vehicles to pass.
Attached to this notice is the detour plan that will be implemented.
