Blackboard Notification Connection System
The Town of Firestone utilizes the Blackboard Connect notification system to provide updates via phone, cell phone, email or text message. Subscribers may choose to get updates via one or all of the methods of delivery. Once a subscriber creates an account, they can update their settings.
The message system is used for:
- Town emergencies
- Road repair / detours
- Municipal court
- Community events
Code Red
On November 15, 2014, Weld County launched the CodeRED Emergency Communications System — a high-speed telephone emergency notification service allowing public safety agencies the ability to deliver pre-recorded information to targeted areas within Weld County. To sign up go to www.weld911alert.com

Water Utility Bill Inserts
The Town will occasionally include inserts in with monthly water bills to provide information on water safety, news, events and more.
Tours and Presentations
Bring your Scout troop or classroom for a tour of Town Hall, the Police department or Public Works. Or invite the Mayor and/or Town officials to attend your organization's meeting to do a presentation and Q&A. Contact the Town Clerk.

Public Town offices are open for business
You are always welcome to stop by any Town offices to meet in person with Town staff. Before you stop by, it is a good idea to email the staff member you would like to meet with and to ensure staff is available. You can find the staff member by looking in the Staff Directory.
Our offices are open Monday - Friday 8 A.M. - 5 P.M. *Holidays may impact office hours. Please check the Town Calendar for office closures.
Public Meetings
The Firestone Board of Trustees and various other Town boards, commissions and committees serve to represent the residents of Firestone. They receive feedback on a variety of topics, develop and adopt police, and resolve public issues. All public meetings can be found on the Town Calendar.
